Safe operations Safe operations take a top priority when transporting LPG. We equip crew members with advanced skills and broad-ranging knowledge, and in 2003 all of our ships and ship owners acquired International Safety Management (ISM) Code certification. We continue to work on raising the standard of Nippon Gas Line fleet and on establishing a safety management system.
Stable supply of clean energy
With the background of the global needs for environment preservation, LPG is attracting more and more attention as a source for clean energy. Stable supply of LPG is of paramount importance for Japan, one of the largest consumers of energy in the world.
Nippon Gas Line is proud of its service records as the oldest specialist operator of LPG transport, and we will continue to enhance our contribution to the industry and economy all over the world.
Efficient operations of LPG
With a view to stable, efficient operations of LPG and other special cargoes transport, we leverage the know-how we have accumulated from building over 50 ships to consistently provide superior ships that feature our very own design, as has always been the case since our establishment, and that are the result of rigorous on-site controls.
Fleets of our specialized carriers range from large vessels to smaller ones, responding to diversified customer needs, - be it a large-lot transport or a smaller-lot, quick transport. We provide shipping transportation from Wakkanai in the north right down to Ishigakijima in the south.
