1962 Japan (Asia)  gas carrier NIPPON GAS LINE: Picture
  The Company was established in Matsuyama, Ehime Prefecture, Japan.
1964
  "Izumi Maru No.2", a LPG carrier, began a greater coasting service to Okinawa, marketing a first step for future ocean-going services.
1968
  Korea-bound transport of VCM(Vinyl Chloride Monomer) was commenced.
1970
  "Izumi Maru No.31"commenced operation between Japan and Hong Kong, heralding the beginning of full-scale overseas services.
1979
  "Horyu Maru" (2,812), an ocean-going LPG carrier, started operations covering Southeast Asia.

1981
  "Everdina" (2,509), an IMO-standard carrier, commenced inter-European operations.
1983
  Gas Line Panama S.A. was established.
"Gas Crest" (3,500), a semi-refrigerated LPG carrier, started operation.
1987
  Jiogla S.A. was established."Jiogasa Star" (DW3,912MT), a clean-product carrier commenced operation for business expansion of Pertamina.
1989
  Gas Pacific S.A. was established.
"Alpha Gas" (3,314) started operation.
1991
  "New Century" (DW2,131MT), an asphalt carrier,commenced operations in Southeast Asia.
1996
  "New Glory" (DW4,147MT) an asphalt carrier, commenced operations in Southeast Asia.
1998
  "No10 Izumi-maru" and "No12 Izumi-maru" ,which are our new 749G/T type vessels, enter service in order to meet the various demands of our customers and provide more comfortable living space for all the crew.
2002
  The entire Nippon Gas Line Group domestic fleet acquired ISM Code certification, and a world-class safety management system was established.
Today
  Domestic: Our domestic vessels transport over 2 million tons of LPG annually, and we are endeavoring to make transportation even safer as Japan’s only operator specializing in LPG.
Overseas: We are enhancing our capacity and expanding our transportation business into a number of new areas, including product, asphalt, LPG and petrochemical gases tankers.
